Months later, I tried to get a heartworm prevention prescription filled out with pet smart because they were cheaper. Numerous times, pet smart would send them prescription request via fax. I called vet several times and personnel from front desk said they would send it back. Finally on the fourth call,they said my dog needed to be tested for heart worms prior to issuing a prescription.
The doctors and staff showed compassionate care for both my dogs and myself. I have had to put two of my dogs down over the past three months. Both had reached 12+ years. They are an amazing staff that genuinely cares.
We have been bringing our pets to Dr. Heil since the 1980s. All of the staff is great!
This is their new location. Dr Stewart started with horses only at this location until just recently. Everything is now at the new location on Davis Road off County Road 32.
I had to go back several times for the same condition. You see a different vet every time. Finally, the one more experienced vet finally solved the problem.
They're good to the animals and their owners
I don’t know if that is standard practice in the industry or not. But why don’t someone call you back or tell me that initially? It seems like the front desk is a circus.I would highly re consider ever sending a pet to them if I was you.
